Attitude Formation and Sarah Palin

Consider Sarah Palin's guest appearance on Saturday Night Live. Do you think this will help her campaign or hurt it? Why? Consider factors that influence persuasion.

I think her performance will only reinforce attitudes already formed. If you think she is 'fresh and new' you will think this performance reinforced that. If you think she is a 'total airhead who is not serious' she reinforced that attitude.
I doubt that there are American voters who haven't been exposed to Palin by now and haven't formed an opinion.

I agree, we have our own opinions, and although I didn't get a chance to watch that episode I'm pretty sure it would reinforce the attitude I have toward her. Other people on the other hand might come away with a new perception...possibly because they don't follow politics and seeing her on a well liked show 'making fun of herself' makes her seem more human and real...
